Working Out with Empty Stomach, Is It Dangerous?

According to Michele Stanten, Prevention Fitness Director, this is all right. Just do not expect we’re going to wear off more fat. A study proves that people who exercise on an empty stomach to burn fat even less than those who have eaten 1-2 hours before exercise.

Stanten who is also a certified fitness instructor later explained that if we do walking exercise with an empty stomach, we can only 30-40 minutes walk. “But everyone has their own levels,” she said. To find the right size, Stanten asks us to do small-scale trials.

The trick is to try to eat snacks that are 200 calorie in content. It can be wheat be cracker bread, banana with one tablespoon of peanut butter, or low-fat cheese. After that, observe how strong we can do our work out. Then compare what happens when we do not eat at all before the sports.
“Usually when we do not fill the stomach before exercise, we will eat more after exercise. Result in more calories than are burned, “she said.
